Indigenous Science

Tapestry has been engaged in work concerning Indigenous Science for many years. Projects have included the "Stories from the Circle: Science and Native Wisdom" workshop in 2002, several pre-production meetings for an Indigenous Science film, the Digital Library of Indigenous Science Resources, and involvement with AAAS (American Association for the Advancement of Science). While we have chosen to use the term "Indigenous Science" to include all Indigenous people from around the world, the term "Native Science" is also used by people to encompass the same concepts.
